Das
Benha Kinderkrankenhaus wurde 1996 in Benha, Ägypten, unter der Aufsicht von Prof.
Hadidi errichtet, um die medizinische und chirurgische Behandlung von Kindern
im Nildelta zu ermöglichen. Heute ist es ein Schwerpunktkrankenhaus für Kinder
aus ganz Ägypten und gehört zu den besten 4 kinderchirurgischen Zentren in
Ägypten.
Das
Krankenhaus hat 3 internationale Kongresse und Workshops mit Teilnehmern aus
der ganzen Welt organisiert. Jedes Jahr werden mehr als 3000 Operationen
durchgeführt, inklusive 30 Ösophagusatresien, 20 Diaphragma Hernien, 40 - 50 Morbus
Hirschsprung und 100 - 120 Hypospadie Korrekturen.
Das
Krankenhaus ist bekannt als Zentrum für Hypospadie Operationen, Morbus
Hirschsprung, Lippen-, Kiefer- und Gaumenspaltenkorrekturen und Ösophagus
Eingriffen.
Es ist ein hervorragend ausgestattetes Trainingscenter für die
Weiterbildung von Kinderchirurgen und konnte bereits eine Reihe junger Ärzte
aus Italien, Deutschland und Griechenland zur Erweiterung ihrer Fähigkeiten,
Hypospadie und Morbus Hirschsprung zu korrigieren, willkommen heissen.
